* * * The complete NEW YORK TIMES bestselling trilogy * * *

This is the complete 3-book bundled boxed set of the Sullivan Brothers "Nice Girl Trilogy" that began the New York Times and USA Today bestselling CAN'T RESIST series.

BOOK #1 RESISTING

He's the ruthless lawyer with a not-so-little black book, and one simple rule as unyielding as his heart Nothing more than a month.

She's the doctoral student helping to raise his niece. His brother's best friend. And the valium for his soul he had no business wanting.

To be fair, she did ask him for advice--on what she could do to stop being 'the nice girl' for a little bit. All he did was answer truthfully "Try something new that excites you."

...Preferably him.

BOOK #2 FALLING

Her best friend since college. The polar opposite of his brother Connor. The 'good guy' everyone's hell-bent on believing is her perfect match--anything beyond friendship for them was just never a possibility. But it is now.

For over a decade, through his high school sweetheart's illness and eventual passing, Abby had been his pal, his rock. All but a second mother to his young daughter. His heart simply wasn't free to love her then. But it is now.

Now that Connor's left her with a shattered heart he could kill him for causing, Brian's got one chance.

...To prove to Abby that everyone's right.

BOOK #3 CHOOSING

The one she never thought she could keep.

The one she never hoped she could have.

A decision she never dreamed she'd have to make.

NOTE TO READERS Each book in this trilogy bundle has a separate story arc in the greater love triangle. There ARE sex scenes in every book. Book #4 (the other brother's happily ever after) is a standalone novel that can be read on its own.

Nice Girl to Love Trilogy Boxed Set #1 Resisting #2 Falling #3 Choosing CAN'T RESIST eBook Violet Duke

In response to your warning about a 3 some love affair, I think you are being to critical. This did not start out as a love affair, it started as 2 friends who tragically had to bury his wife from a hideous, horrendous disease. "They worked side by side together to take care of his wife until the end. A child was born to him and his wife before she dies but as his wife was not able to care for the child his "friend" stayed by his side caring for the baby. The triangle didn't begin until his brother decided he wanted the friend for himself. Only then did the 1st brother (several years after his wife's death) decided that he loved her. Or maybe he just didn't want to lose her.

Then the emotional battles begin as it develops between the two brothers and the woman they both want. I found this trilogy to be both moving and full of suspense and even though the worry over the now teen having the possible gene her mother had the ending in book 3 was great.

I loved the trilogy and would recommend it to everyone.

This review contains a few SPOILERS!

This story was very nice and the first book was actually great. It was very well written and I was able to come to care about the characters. I enjoyed the series for the most part.

That being said I'll write about the things I did not like about it. If you don't want to read spoilers STOP reading here. This will be more of a rant than a review.

Abby was a very selfless and likeable character and it was very obvious how she felt about Connor for many years. Connor was a playboy that wouldn't stay with a woman past one month (per his rules.) Their story was really good which is in the first book. I don't understand why the author felt that brothers sharing a woman was okay in any way. I was disappointed and upset by the fact that she ruined the story for me. Brian is Connor's brother. He lost his wife to Huntington's disease after a ten year long battle and Abby that had been his best friend since they met in college went through it all with him and his daughter Skylar. With them being best friend for so many years, they were more family than anything else and it's okay to feel like you love her in a romantic way now that she's going to be with someone else. When Connor got out of the way to give her a chance to find out of she loved Brian in any other way than as her friend I got that but the fact that she started having any kind of "feelings" for Brian other than their friendship warranted just made me loose all respect for her. I mean she seemed fickle by acting that way since she was still hung up on Connor and crying every night. What kind of love is that? While seeing if they were meant to be together the author took it too far. She was with Connor for a whole month, slept with him, and fell even more in love with him, then she wants to get over him so she jumps into a serious relationship with his brother after months of waiting for Connor to come back and right into bed. The whole second book felt real sick to me almost like incest and I couldn't enjoy it at all. (However I'd like to point out that Abby and Brian together did make sense, even more than Connor and her did. Had the author moved in that direction from the first book it would've been really nice too, but she didn't so I always felt as though she belonged with Connor.) The injured party was mostly Skylar, that poor little girl got her hopes up for nothing. The whole story didn't make sense in so many ways. I almost wish Abby would've slept with many other men to get over Connor instead of how this story played out. I guess it bothers me so much because Brian was Connor's brother. If the story would've been with a different guy it would've been a totally awesome story. The third book was somewhat better but between the brothers trying to share Abby I really lost respect and interest in the whole thing. It was weird, bizzare and everyone's suffering was pointless and unnecessary. After a while I was just wishing for the book to end. Such a good story but not well executed. Many missed opportunities for a far better story. Brian does need a HEA so since there aren't any other siblings I'll try the next book and see if it redeems itself.
I really enjoyed these books but boy am I glad I bought the trilogy. I would have died if I had read the first one and not already had the other 2. There's a little awkward of a love triangle going on here, but it's wrote well so I could get into the story. Personally, I'd never get involved with brothers, but it makes a great book! In book one you meet Abby and Connor who are both intriguing characters as individuals, but when they came together they were perfect. The witty banter between them is great. I thought they were a match made in heaven. Conner has the bad boy persona but in reality he would do anything to help anyone - and that makes him even more lovealbe. Then book 2 comes along....hello Brian. Brian, long time friend of Abby and brother of Conner. I loved him and his daughter - I felt for them both and they added a lot to the story and to Abby's character. Unfortunately I could never get into Brian and Abby's relationship. I adore Brian and I want him to be happy but his chemistry with Abby didn't sweep me off my feet like Connor's did. Brian is your boy next door with good looks so who has been dealt a crappy hand. Then in book 3 Abby has to make a decision. She's had her time with Conner and her time with Brian - who does she herself with forever. Abby's great - she's strong, successful, she sets goad and she follows through with them. She's like the whole package smart, funny, and sexy! I think she knew all along who her heart belonged to, it just was hard for her to realize because of the situation she's involved in. I'm happy with the ending. I love that she got her HEA
I'm not a fan of cliff hangers so when I can get a trilogy in a box set I'm all for it. I'm so glad that I was able to read this one back to back. These stories started out good, I loved Conner and Abby together. Then it turned into a triangle, which I'm not a huge fan of especially when they involve brothers. Brian and Abby were good together too. But I couldn't help feeling as if their feelings for each other hadn't grown out of obligation for Sklar and grew into something they didn't understand but thought was something else. So when put to the final challenge I felt for Abby. She needed to put herself first and she was having a hard time doing that. I loved the final result I'm as I was rooting for the two of them to end up together, even if they had to go through all the challenges that they did. This was shorter than I'm expected but sweet none the less, and who doesn't like a good guy/bad guy challenge.
